3. CHAMAREL
Chamarel is a small village located in the Savannah district. It is attractive because it is the highest waterfall in Mauritius a hundred meters away, as well as the Seven Colors. Climb the stairs and enjoy the impressive view from Charamel Falls. The land of seven colors is made up of sand dunes of different colors. Shades of red, brown and purple will impress you. This phenomenon was caused by the cooling of volcanic rocks at different temperatures.
4. LA VINILLE CROCODILE PARK
The main attraction is certainly the crocodiles, but you will also see other animals such as large bats, turtles, monkeys and a large collection of insects. As you stroll through the jungle watching the flora and fauna, you will learn about endangered species of Mauritius. 5. PAMPLEMOUSSES BOTANICAL GARDEN
It covers 60 acres of land, and is characterized by a large number of different types of palm trees. The Botanical Garden is unique for its huge lily ponds that make it home to frogs, bats hanging from branches, a lake with large turtles and fish, and famous palm trees planted by celebrities like Nelson Mendele and Indira Gandhi.
6. CHÂTEAU DE LAMBOUDONNAIS
